In this role, you will oversee daily operations, drive process improvements, and ensure the efficient execution of projects. Your leadership will be pivotal in supporting our mission to transform innovative ideas into reality. Responsibilities Oversee all facility-user testing operations: Oversee all facility-user testing operations in alignment with Calspan’s Company Values, leading a respectful and inclusive work culture that empowers both staff and customers on track. You will plan and coordinate all test activities while involving team members in decision-making and sharing authority to foster ownership of results. By challenging the team with appropriate risks and providing timely, constructive feedback, you’ll motivate, train, and develop staff to deliver safe, efficient, and customer-focused testing services. Develop, implement, and maintain routine maintenance plans : Develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance schedules for all test sectors. Ensure Infield Sectors and Highway-Speed Oval receives regular inspections, preventive servicing, and timely repairs. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to secure parts, tools, and specialist services, and prioritize work orders based on operational demands and safety-critical criteria. Monitor maintenance performance through detailed logs and key performance indicators, identify recurring issues, and drive continuous-improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and extend asset life. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with industry standards, internal quality protocols, and regulatory requirements. Perform inventory control, asset management, and ensure compliance: Establish and maintain accurate inventory and asset records. Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to identify and resolve discrepancies. Coordinate procurement and stocking of critical spares to meet testing demands while minimizing excess inventory. Oversee the full asset lifecycle by managing tagging, calibration schedules, maintenance histories, and depreciation. Ensure all inventory and asset-management processes comply with Calspan policies, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements. Preferred Education /

Bachelors in related discipline 7+ years in related discipline Previous experience in a management position or; A combination of education and experience equivalent to the abov Preferred Knowledge /
Ability:
Automotive test operations experience Skill in coordinating test schedules, balancing capacity with customer priorities to maximize throughput. Thorough understanding of inventory & asset-management Comfort with basic P&L oversight, forecasting, variance analysis and cost-control measures. Strong written and oral communication skills The salary range provided is a general guideline.
