We’re looking for a leader with strong organizational skills, an outgoing personality, and lots of energy around creating an environment that’s “S’more Fun”! Wondermade handcrafts the world’s best marshmallows right here in downtown Sanford, sold at both our retails stores and across other retails channels for distribution across the country. Our Sanford location is a standalone ice cream parlor and candy shop, and it is also the location where we produce all the marshmallows sold through all our sales channels. The Sanford Manager would develop our team to ensure that Wondermade provides the best food and shopping experience possible. This leader would be the location champion, and would also be responsible for coaching our team of 12-20 people to ensure we meet our goals for both front and back of house: That means leading everything from scooping, inventory, guest experience, marshmallow production, and community engagement. Weekend and holiday availability is required for this position. Full time staff receive 3 weeks PTO, as well as largely subsidized health / dental insurance. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in food/retail/hospitality management and team leadership Excellent customer service and communication skills An outgoing and friendly personality Previous success in leading teams to meet production goals Experience and passion for working fast-paced, goal-driven environment Ability to lead and motivate team members ServSafe Manager certified Success in delegation, prioritization, and time management Demonstrates a care for people Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
