Highway 32 W, Alma, GA 31510 Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our operational processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a strategic mindset to drive efficiency, profitability, and growth within the organization. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple projects simultaneously while fostering a collaborative team environment. Duties Manage daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes with primary focus on the shipping and receiving department as well as building and lawn maintenance. Ensure all customer orders are pulled accurately and in a timely manner. Oversee all incoming shipments, ensuring all goods are received, inspected and placed on the sales lot. Schedule all shipping and receiving loads, customer pick ups, brokered loads and company delivered loads. Provide all necessary paperwork, invoices, sales receipts, pictures or drawings for all loads. Maintain Google Calendar for drivers as well as the schedule for deliveries and installs. Lead project management initiatives to implement process improvements that enhance productivity and reduce costs. Develop and execute strategic planning efforts aligned with the company’s goals for business development and growth. Supervise operational staff, providing guidance, training, support, and performance evaluations to foster professional development. Maintain a safe and organized shipping and receiving area, and ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulations. Collaborate with sales teams to align operational capabilities with market demands and customer expectations. Implement best practices in operations management to streamline workflows and enhance service delivery. Other duties as assigned or necessary Requirements Proven experience in an operations management role or similar capacity, demonstrating strong leadership abilities. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in strategic planning and business development initiatives that contribute to organizational success. Excellent supervisory skills with a focus on team building and employee engagement. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
