JOB SUMMARY

: The Business Operations Officer is part of the Outpatient Management Team and is responsible for the oversight of all clerical support staff for the Outpatient Programs for Highland Rivers Behavioral Health. The Business Operations Officer is responsible for the operation of the front office system, the scheduling department, and the work completed by Referral Specialists and Engagement Specialists. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

: Provides direct supervision of the clerical staff operating within the Outpatient line of business including specialty programs. Responsible for handling all personnel supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, training, supervising and coaching of clerical staff. Participates on the Outpatient Management Team. Assists in program development, implementation and monitoring. Brings the voice of clerical staff to the Management Team to assist in decision making. Serves as a representative of the Outpatient Management Team for meetings within HRH that include departments such as Revenue Cycle Management, Utilization Management, Quality Improvement, etc to assist in problem identification and resolution, and communication between these departments and clerical staff in Outpatient. Coaches clerical staff to grow and become leaders as opportunities arise within their clinics/locations to foster stronger clinics, stronger working relationships with clinical staff and quality services for the individuals we serve. Completes and reviews reports related to Outpatient Services, including front desk collections, authorizations, budgets, etc with the goal of determining ways the clerical department can impact Outpatient goals positively. Completes front desk audits and any other reviews of clerical staff performance as indicated. Provides training and supervision as needed related to the results. Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
