Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and strategic Fleet Operations Manager to oversee the scheduling, dispatching, and overall management of our fleet operations. This role involves leading and managing the entire operations team to ensure optimal efficiency, high performance, and exceptional service. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in aligning operational goals with the company’s objectives while fostering a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities Lead, manage, and provide guidance to the operations team to ensure seamless workflow and efficient performance. Oversee day-to-day fleet operations, including vehicle dispatch, scheduling, and route optimization. Coordinate with drivers and team members to ensure timely deliveries and compliance with safety protocols. Monitor and maintain fleet performance, including vehicle maintenance schedules and operational efficiency. Develop and implement policies to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company standards. Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost management, and team productivity. Collaborate with internal teams and customers to address inquiries and resolve issues. Recruit, train, and develop team members to enhance operational capabilities.

Qualifications Required:

Proven experience in fleet operations, transportation, or logistics (3-5 years preferred). Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring a team. Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and fleet tracking tools. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle safety standards. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field. Experience in the trucking or freight industry.
