We are seeking a high-performing strategy leaderto tackle the most important challenges facing our indirect autofinancing business. This role blends strategic leadership withanalytical depth—ideal for someone who can both shape executivedecisions and independently dive into the data. You willcollaborate directly with senior leaders across Sales, Marketing,Product, Analytics (Underwriting / Pricing), and Finance to definebusiness direction, assess new opportunities, support data-drivendecision making, and drive growth. The ideal candidate brings aconsulting-caliber mindset, strong executive communication, and abias toward hands-on execution.
Outcomes and Activities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and refine GTMstrategies across new products, customer segments, and saleschannels. Lead cross-functional strategic projects that identifygrowth opportunities and define and shape our Go-to-Market (GTM)strategy. Develop structured problem statements and driveanalytical frameworks to evaluate business opportunities and risks.
Build financial and strategic models to evaluate new markets andgo-to-market strategies. Deliver clear, insight-richrecommendations that are data-driven and actionable. Partner withexecutive leadership to influence key decisions across sales,marketing, product, promotion, and operations. Create compellingpresentations that effectively communicate analytical findings andcomplex ideas to executive (C-suite) and cross-functional audiences(VP / Director). Build business cases to assess strategic options,tradeoffs, and potential impact. Define KPIs and track performanceof implemented strategies to ensure continuous improvement. Developinsights that shape quarterly and annual strategic planning cycles.
Serve as an internal thought partner and trusted advisor to theexecutive team.
Knowledge and Skills:
Structured thinker withcommand of strategy frameworks, competitive analysis, and financialmodeling. Advanced data analysis skills with the ability to workindependently in various data environments and analytical platforms(SAS, SQL, Snowflake, Python, Excel) to extract, manipulate, andinterpret data and drive insights. Skilled in developing anddelivering executive-level dashboards or data visualizations. Deepunderstanding of business driver metrics and how to de-averageportfolio-level KPIs to understand different types of opportunitysegments (competitive, audience behavioral, geographic, productusage, etc.) Strong executive communication and storytelling—bothPPT slide development and verbal delivery. High comfort withambiguity and rapid iteration. Strong bias for action and operateswith a sense of urgency. Exceptional business judgment andpragmatic problem-solving. Proven ability to build relationships,drive alignment, and influence diverse stakeholders in a matrixed,cross-functional environment. Skilled at translating analysis intobusiness recommendations and prioritizing for impact.
Requirements:
4 years of experience in top-tier management consulting firms orinternal strategy roles at a high-performance company in thefinancial services industry. 3 years of experience with SQL,Python, and business intelligence tools. Demonstrated experienceworking with and influencing senior executives. Proven ability toindependently lead strategy projects from problem definition tosolution delivery. Familiar with developing models and manipulatingbusiness data. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred:
MBA or advanced degree in business, economics, or aquantitative discipline. Experience in auto finance, fintech,consumer lending, or adjacent sectors. Prior experience incross-functional leadership or special projects roles. Exposure toGTM (segmentation, sales enablement, B2B marketing, channeloptimization), growth strategy, pricing or promotion, oroperational scaling workstreams.
Targeted Compensation:
$177,382 -$206,926 base salary an annual bonus plan This position is notcurrently open to individuals who require sponsorship now or in thefuture to work legally for Credit Acceptance, such as H-1b / H-4 orF-1 OPT visa holders.
