$57,400 to $76,500 USD What Is The Job All About? Hawk-Eye Innovations is seeking an NFL Operations Lead to oversee our NFL tracking and replay operations. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of optical tracking as well as AWS and cloud computing, with the ability to manage and provide effective feedback to a team of Operators. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth delivery of our cloud-based NFL tracking systems and will require a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Accountable for the live delivery of our American Football SkeleTRACK and SMART Systems Conducting pre-match checks of the systems in accordance with standard procedures Liaising with league staff, onsite technicians, and internal operators to deliver a flawless operation. Identify potential issues and work to find solutions to maximize operational efficiency. Execute daily hardware investigations and resolutions. Execute on software roll-outs and address data investigation tasks. Execute actions across teams and ensure follow-up and resolutions are communicated Assist with leading training sessions across all specific roles and responsibilities. Oversee pre-game checks of the systems in accordance with standard procedures and solve problems in a timely manner when issues arise. Assist and oversee the operation of the technologies during the game remotely from the Atlanta Office. Work with the resource allocation team to ensure operations are scheduled appropriately Line manage a small operations team Identify and execute operational workflow improvements
Skills and Experiences:
1+ years of Production/Technical experience in a successful branded company/organization Basic knowledge of AWS and cloud computing (training provided if necessary). Management experience with the ability to provide nightly feedback and coaching. Time management skills and the ability to work in a high-pressure, live sporting environment Ability to liaise with clients and customers in a professional and approachable manner In-depth understanding of Hockey operations, terminology, and processes. Experience in hardware quality assurance and data investigation. Ability to prioritize, address high-priority issues, and escalate to leadership. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Previous experience in a similar role within operations or sports technology. Proficient in project management software such as ClickUp. Proficient in using presentation tools such as Google Slides and Google Sheets. This position will require schedule flexibility, including weekends, late nights, and holidays. Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site support and installs.

The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for an annual corporate bonus plan, which is based on company performance and is not guaranteed, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision)
