Purpose:
The Operations Director is responsible forhelping to set the vision for the restaurant, increasing sales andprofits, and ensuring an exceptional service experience forguests.
Essential Functions:
Leads all operational aspects of the restaurant; helps executethe company vision and purpose, as well as uphold the establishedcore values. Facilitates the development and implementation of the annualbudget, financial forecasts and other business goals, and leadsunit management to ensure budgeted sales and profit goals areachieved. Maintains that high food safety standards are upheld bytraining and operational adoption; ensures that food is prepped,held, and served according to all Chick-fil-A, federal, state, andlocal sanitary, safety, and health standards. Builds, trains, and coaches high-performing teams; partnerswith Talent Acquisition to appropriately staff the restaurant tomeet business needs. Engages with Operations Controller and regional leadership onfinancial decisions and enacting needed controls; makes purchasingdecisions for repairs, maintenance, and supplies. Continuously monitors labor and food costs; adjusts schedulingand purchasing as necessary. Ensures each guest has a positive experience and monitors CEMscores. Develops and communicates ongoing proprietary culinarystandards, objectives, and goals consistently to optimize qualityand financial results. Acts as point of contact, liaison, and subject matter expertfor all proprietary brand culinary related questions.

The Operations Director reports to the SeniorDirector Operations II.
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills,and Work Environment:
Education and Experience:
The combination of education andprofessional experience must exceed 8 years: In a leadership role: Requires 3 years of experience leading ateam of F&B Operations professionals engaged in developing andexecuting Operations programs.
In a technical role:
Requires 8 years of experience engaged indeveloping and delivering Operations programs A bachelor’s degree in a program related to the functional areacan count for 3 of the eight-year requirement. An MBA or a master’s level degree in a program related to thefunctional area can count for an additional 2 years of theeight-year requirement.
In the industry:
3-5 years of F&B Operationsexperience. Specialized Skillset/Competencies/Traits Requires a demonstrated ability to effectively grow sales andoperating profit, while continuously improving customer, teammember, and landlord satisfaction. Business acumen and also has the mindset required to understandthe long-term implications of Operations planning and to advancethe organization’s goals. Demonstrated history of understanding the needs of thebusiness, stakeholders, the employee population and individualcircumstances. Demonstrated history of creating and maintaining positive workenvironments through coaching, developing, and leading teams toachieve common goals.
