We’re looking for a dynamic and highly organized , enthusiastic , and mature Operations Manager to keep our kitchen and front-of-house running smoothly.

Job Description:

The Operations Manager will be the backbone of our operation, ensuring efficient daily operations, maintaining high standards of food quality and service, and fostering a positive work environment. This role demands a strong leader who can thrive in a fast-paced setting, effectively manage a diverse and sometimes challenging team , and handle difficult customer interactions with professionalism and composure .

Responsibilities:

Kitchen & Service Management:

Oversee daily operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service. Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards. Manage inventory, ordering, and waste control. Maintain consistent food quality and presentation. Resolve customer complaints and handle difficult situations with maturity and tact.

Team Leadership & Development:

Recruit, train, and supervise a young, dynamic, and sometimes challenging team. Create and maintain staff schedules. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Provide clear direction, consistent feedback, and manage performance effectively. Effectively address conflict and maintain team morale. Ensure all staff is following company procedures.

Operational Efficiency:

Implement and maintain operational procedures to maximize efficiency. Monitor and manage costs, including labor and food costs. Ensure equipment is properly maintained and functioning. Manage online ordering systems and delivery services.

Community Engagement:

Maintain a strong connection with the local urban community. Assist in planning and executing promotional events and activities. Ensure that the restaurant reflects the vibe of the community it serves.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in restaurant operations management, preferably in a fast-food or quick-service environment. Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a diverse team, including those who may be challenging. Strong conflict resolution and customer service skills. High level of organization and attention to detail. Enthusiastic and positive attitude. Mature and professional demeanor. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations. Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and other relevant software. Passion for providing exceptional customer service. A strong understanding of urban culture and youth trends. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$50,000.00 per year

Schedule:
