Playon is looking for a Strategic Account Manager, Coaching & TeamSolutions to builds strong relationships with key clients anddelivering innovative solutions to support coaches and teams at alllevels. In this role, you’ll be responsible for owning a portfolioof schools and athletic programs, focusing on expanding adoption ofPlayon Coaching Analytics, team fundraisers, camp registrationtools, and other team-driven products. Partnering closely withcoaches, athletic directors, and key stakeholders to understandtheir needs and demonstrate how Playon solutions can solve theirchallenges. Developing and executing a go-to-market strategy tocross-sell and upsell solutions, leveraging data insights andcustomer relationships. You will also be responsible forcollaborating with internal teams (e.g., sales, customer experienceand customer success) to identify opportunities to sell across theentire Playon ecosystem, as well as act as a trusted advisor,building long-term relationships with coaches and athletic staff.
The Outcomes You’ll Deliver Drive Sales of Analytics & TeamSolutions at PlayOn Build Strong Relationships with High SchoolCoaches & Athletic Departments Maximize Cross-Selling Opportunitieswith GoFan & NFHS Network Schools In this role, you can expect toConduct outbound prospecting to identify new opportunities withinexisting schools for coach-driven solutions. Schedule and leadproduct demonstrations and conversations with coaches and athleticstaff. Collaborate with the ticketing and non-athletic teams toensure consistent messaging and a unified customer experience.
Become an expert in PlayOn Coaching Analytics and otherteam-focused tools, staying up-to-date on product enhancements andindustry trends. Maintain accurate records in CRM, tracking leads,opportunities, and pipeline metrics. Provide feedback to theproduct team on customer needs and market demands, advocating forenhancements that benefit coaches and teams. Represent PlayOn atevents, tradeshows, and webinars relevant to coaches and athleticstakeholders. To thrive in this role, you have Proven success insales, account management, or customer-facing roles, preferably inSaaS, edtech, or sports-related industries. Strong communicationand relationship-building skills, with experience engaging coaches,athletic directors, or school decision-makers preferred. Ability towork cross-functionally with internal teams to maximize customersuccess and identify upsell opportunities. Comfortable managing ahigh volume of accounts and juggling competing priorities.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to meet and exceed salestargets. Familiarity with analytics tools, sports technologies, orfundraising platforms is a plus. Experience with CRM platforms(e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and data-driven sales approaches.
