We are seeking a seasoned Group Travel Manager to oversee and optimize our corporate travel operations, with a special focus on complex group travel programs. This position requires group travel experience as well as leadership experience . This leadership role is ideal for someone who brings deep industry experience, strong operational oversight, and a talent for people management . You’ll drive strategic execution, elevate service delivery, and mentor a team of skilled travel professionals-all while working closely with top-tier clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations and performance of a group-focused travel team Provide hands-on leadership and coaching to consultants to meet service, quality, and productivity goals Serve as the primary escalation point for high-profile clients and sensitive travel issues Oversee the full group travel lifecycle, from air costing and planning to on-site support coordination Analyze team and client data to identify trends and implement improvement strategies Develop and maintain strong client relationships, including with VIP and executive-level contacts Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Workforce, Technology) on staffing, scheduling, and process optimization Own and refine training, onboarding, and performance management frameworks Ensure compliance with company policies, HR standards, and security protocols Provide on-site support at key client events and programs as needed
What You Bring:
5+ years of corporate travel experience , with a focus on group or incentive travel At least 2 years in a management or senior leadership role within the travel industry Strong proficiency in GDS platforms (e.g., Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus) and contact center technologies Demonstrated success in people management, coaching, and team development Excellent communication, client relationship, and problem-solving skills Ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and lead performance improvements High emotional intelligence, strong business acumen, and commitment to service excellence Must be based in or willing to commute to Duluth, GA as needed (hybrid role) Why Join Us?
