Night Operations Supervisor 2.5 2.5 out of 5 stars 130 Liberty Industrial Pkwy, McDonough, GA 30253 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Supervisor to oversee our operations during the evening shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising warehouse staff and daily activities managing the time according with the freight volume/flow and following all safety procedures at all times. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff during the night shift to ensure operational efficiency. Conduct employee orientation and training to foster a knowledgeable team. Implement effective shift management practices to optimize productivity and performance. Ensuring the warehouse set up is correct and ready for daily business. Monitors the unloading and proper handling and staging of freight. Monitors the receiving/staging/loading process and the freight being handled properly documenting all damages. Monitors that the reconciliation process of the freight is followed at all times. Keeping constant communication with managers to coordinate the computer process (Customer’s and own systems) Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction. Maintain a safe and clean work environment for both employees and customers. Shuttle straight trucks in the yard if needed Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse management. Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently. Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and manage stress effectively. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with staff and customers. A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail. Proficient with computers, MS Office, general software, scanners.
