The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing profit and loss, ensuring operational efficiency, and fostering collaboration across departments. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively implement process improvements while maintaining high standards of quality and performance. Duties Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to ensure products availability and minimize discrepancies Perform regular stock audits and coordinate with procurement teams for restocking Oversee warehouse staff, including training and scheduling, and performance evaluations Ensure team compliance with safety regulations and company policies Plan and optimize warehouse layouts to improve operational efficiency Supervise receiving, storage, and distribution processes to ensure timely delivery of goods Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Schedule routine maintenance and inspections for warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and cherry pickers Address equipment breakdowns promptly to avoid operational delays Generate regular reports on warehouse performance metrics Analyze data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements Collaborate with the sales and customer service team to ensure timely order fulfillment Address and resolve customer complaints related to shipping or inventory issues Develop and manage the warehouse budget, including labor, equipment, and operation expenses Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or efficiency Managing data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reducing cost per unit, eliminating errors, including but not limited to 3PL’s Oversee and manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure efficient warehouse operations and cost-effective logistics solutions
