Job Description
Operations Manager Centek Marine 110 Plantation Oak Dr, Thomasville, GA 31792 Centek Marine, the global leader in marine exhaust and engine room ventilation manufacturing, is looking for an operations professional to fill the role of Operations Manager . The Operations Manager will be responsible for all operations related to various product lines at Centek’s manufacturing facilities in Thomasville, GA. This critical role will be instrumental in driving efficiency, quality, and team development. Other duties and responsibilities include the following: Manage daily operations of Centek product lines Mentor product line managers in schedule management, personnel development, and quality initiatives. Manage and execute RMA actions for production warranties, including developing and implementing “Prevention of Recurrence” plans. Monitor and act on key production metrics, including time logging, attendance, and efficiency. Act as a liaison between other Centek departments (Engineering, Sales, Finance, and Customer Service). Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, operational efficiency, and employee morale.
Qualifications:
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in operations management, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Proven ability to lead and motivate teams. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a strong focus on results, continuous improvement, and a passion for fostering a positive and productive work environment.
