Why This Role Matters As an Operations Supervisor at TCI in Thomasville, GA , you’ll be a key player in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics operations. You’ll lead dispatch activity, ensure compliance, and be the frontline connection between drivers, internal teams, and our valued customers. This is a hands-on leadership role in a dynamic, people-first environment. Key Responsibilities ???? Operational Oversight Supervise and support daily dispatching operations, adjusting plans as needed to meet service demands. Serve as back-up dispatcher when necessary. ???? Customer Service Excellence Foster ongoing, professional relationships with customer contacts. Represent TCI in meetings and communications, ensuring our service performance exceeds expectations. ????️ Scheduling & Staffing Confirm that team members arrive for scheduled shifts and are properly assigned. Resolve scheduling issues and ensure full coverage for operations. ????️ Compliance & Safety Monitor DOT compliance by ensuring drivers have the hours needed for their assignments. Partner with leadership and Safety teams to lead monthly initiatives and update safety materials in the terminal. ⏱️ Hours of Service (HOS) Oversight Administer, audit, and ensure compliance with driver HOS logs via the e-Log system. Collaborate with Safety and HR to resolve discrepancies and maintain regulatory standards. ???? What You Bring ✅ Experience in operations, dispatch, or logistics supervision ✅ Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations ✅ Strong leadership and communication abilities ✅ Detail-oriented and efficient multitasker ✅ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and industry systems ✅ A proactive, team-focused attitude ????
