This position will oversee multiple projectsa team of purchasing, inventory, and production optimization. Own the overall operations process and execution includingaiding in process improvements through the enhancements ofproduction processes via continuous improvement initiativesProactive approach to identifying issues to minimize productionbottlenecks Lead and assist in optimizing the full productionprocess from order creation through building shipment includingareas such as purchasing, inventory, production, etc. to increaseproduction throughput and ensure quality products Train and developthe operation teams through effective continuous improvementdevelopment, performance management, and succession planningincluding conducting operation team meetings as well as individual1:1s Focus on enhancing and developing an improved recruiting andonboarding program in conjunction with HR for welders, fitters,machine operators, inspectors, purchasing, inventory, etc.prioritizing the needs for succession planning of existingoperations staff. Planning and Business Intelligence Partner withGM to establish sales and financial goals for the company incoordination with leadership and plan and direct the operation teamto meet these goals Develop and implement a manufacturingoptimization plan with monthly goals and updates Implementinitiatives to fulfill the annual optimization plan with monthlychanges and updates Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting ofproduction metrics Analyze and develop KPIs to enhance ourunderstanding of our existing processes, technologies, headcount,equipment, etc to drive improved company and individual employeeperformance Ensure process documentation is routinely updatedCommunity Motivate and manage personnel to meet operational andfinancial goals Create unity by working with all employees andstakeholders to meet needs and improve processes Select, assign,and develop operation staff; conduct performance reviews; rewardand discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problemsEnsure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees Knoweach employee by name, demonstrate care and trust and buildrelationships as applicable
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degreepreferred 5 years of applicable, industry, and leadershipexperience Strong knowledge in the manufacturing processes drivenby production metrics. Pre-engineered metal building manufacturingexperience preferred Proven track record in managing an operationsteam in a manufacturing environment.
