The Director of Operations will be a key leaderwithin the firm, responsible for overseeing and optimizing coreoperational functions, including custodial operations & onboarding,account administration, data management, billing, and advisorcompensation. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, thisindividual will lead efforts to enhance operational efficiencies,ensure regulatory compliance, and drive process automation tosupport the firm’s continued growth. The ideal candidate will be inthe New Orleans, LA, area. Remote candidates are encouraged toapply.

Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership & ProcessOptimization Enhance, automate, and streamline operations processes toimprove efficiency and accuracy. Project manage firm-wide operations initiatives, includingtransitioning to a singular operations & service platform andimplementing new workflows identified by RIA leadership. Collaborate with key stakeholders to analyze and optimizetechnology use across the firm, particularly in systems such asSoftek Nexus & Quantum, Orion, AdvisorBOB, and Salesforce.

CustodialOperations & Client Onboarding Supervise the end-to-end client onboarding process, ensuringall agreements, paperwork, and documentation are completedaccurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Serve as the escalation point of contact for escalated accountadministration issues requiring agreement review and approval. Ensure all custodial reporting and documentation is maintainedaccurately and efficiently for audit requests. Oversee quality control checks to ensure accurate tracking ofaccount billing details, including client information, accountstatus, and rebates. Manage and implement procedures to maintain data integrityacross financial operations systems, ensuring accuracy in billingand compensation. Liaise with accounting and finance to ensure revenue andexpenses are booked properly. Assist with mergers and acquisitions, ensuring smoothtransitions in data, billing, operations, and advisorcompensation.

Training & Development Host quarterly systems training sessions to educate advisorsand staff on operational workflows and technology. Develop advisor-facing training materials in collaboration withthe marketing team, utilizing video, digital, and printformats. Work closely with managers to provide ongoing training on keyfinancial operations systems based on advisor needs.

Qualifications:

5-10 years of experience in RIA operations, broker dealeroperations or related fields. Experience with Fidelity, Raymond James, Schwab, Goldman Sachsand/or LPL Clearing preferred. Experience with a proven track record of managingcross-functional teams and processes. Experience managing staff and building a team to support growthand scale in an organization. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics or otherbusiness-related field or equivalent professional experience. Skill in operating various databases and software programs(i.e., Microsoft Office, Orion, Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau,etc.). Expertise in Microsoft Excel. Ability to communicate professionally in writing or verballywith co-workers, advisors, and other business units asrequired. Ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple taskswithin established timeframes. Ability to investigate, research, and resolve problems. Ability to explain complex information clearly andconcisely. Ability to pay close attention to detail, meet or exceeddeadlines and implement quality control processes to check foraccuracy. Ability to collaborate and provide recommendations. Ability to communicate and project a positive, professionalattitude with co-workers, customers, and various business contactsin person and over the telephone. Ability to develop professional relationships and maintainconfidentiality. Ability to continually stay updated with new information. Ability to be at work on a regular and predictable basis.
