Job Description

Hospitality Associate 2.9 2.9 out of 5 stars 909 Poydras Street, New Orleans, LA 70112 Reception & Guest Services Welcome and assist all visitors and clients; offer refreshments and ensure comfort. Answer and direct inquiries and phone calls, including internal hotlines. Manage visitor entry by updating systems and coordinating with lobby security. Provide escorts, tours, and assist with logistics (e.g., coat check, luggage, taxis). Send welcome packages and assist with urgent visitor needs (e.g., Wi-Fi, room codes). Conduct daily audits of temporary badges and maintain tracking records. Meeting & Workspace Support Prepare meeting rooms, ensuring all A/V, lighting, supplies, and seating are in order. Coordinate catering setup/removal and maintain pristine conditions in all spaces. Monitor room usage, reclaim unused space, and report occupancy data. Reset mobile workspaces and maintain tidiness of assigned workstations. Kitchen, Pantry & Supplies Run dishwasher, clean tables, and organize chairs in common areas. Restock kitchen and supply rooms; place orders proactively to prevent shortages. Records & Mail Services Check in, scan, and track records received; reconcile incoming/outgoing records. Sort, remove junk mail, and bundle daily mail for forwarding. Printing & Shipping Assist with file printing, binding, and labeling. Coordinate large print jobs and outgoing shipments. Facility & Communication Support Log facility service tickets (e.g., lighting, HVAC) and follow up as needed. Respond promptly to all communications via email, phone, and chat. Maintain restaurant/delivery directory with dietary notes for client needs. Required Skills & Qualifications Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Professional demeanor with a client-first mindset. Ability to anticipate needs and resolve issues efficiently. Comfortable standing/walking for long periods in a fast-paced environment.
