Job Description

Dispatch Manager Come join a growing and exciting team! IPSC is a family owned and operated company and we have been around since 1977. In the last few years IPSC has seen significant growth, and has spread into new markets across the country. This role serves as the oversight for our 24/7 Communications Hub. This center answers all calls, responds to operational needs, monitors cameras and systems to address issues, assists with quality assurance, and so much more! This department has grown and taken on new responsibilities, and now we are looking for a leader who can help bring us into the future. This next leader will need to: be able to create and implement training programs for the department, have the capacity to quickly learn and understand the day-to-day operations of our company, implement new initiatives and technologies, and ensure the entire department is exceeding expectations!
This position will be based out of the Corporate Office in Hammond. You must be able to be on call and willing to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as you will be responsible for the operation of a department 24/7. Commitment and understanding the 24/7 nature of our work is a requirement for this position. This role is an integral part of the operation of our company and requires dedication and attention to detail.
Job duties include:

  • Maintain the staffing of the department
  • Training employees
  • Scheduling employees
  • Creating and implementing policies and procedures
  • Ensuring quality customer service
  • Oversight of the quality of work of the entire team
  • Work with other departments across the company to support their efforts, and implement new initiatives
    This position is paid a weekly salary, requires high administrative and decision-making skills, and will supervise 15-20+ employees.
