Shelter Site Manager Position Available In Berkshire, Massachusetts

Join our compassionate and dedicated team at Our Friends House Shelter.

Working collaboratively with the Program Director, the Shelter Managerhelps oversee daily operations to ensure that guests receive the time,support, and structure they need to regain stability and successfullytransition to permanent housing.

• Key Responsibilities
• Partner withthe Program Director in the day-to-day management of the shelterprogram.
• Assess client needs and strengths to support compliance withthe DHCD monthly Re-housing Plan.
• Oversee client welfare and addressdaily concerns as they arise.
• Participate in client reviews, staffmeetings, and management team discussions.
• Assist in program planningand budget development.
• Monitor and adjust staff schedules, arrangingrelief coverage when needed.
• Maintain communication with eachresident’s network of support services.
• Attend regular consultationmeetings with the Program Director.
• Complete documentation, includinglog and progress notes, accurately and in a timely manner.
• Supervise,train, and support staff throughout each shift.
• Provide crisisresponse via the 24-hour rotating on-call system.
• Perform other dutiesas assigned by the Program Director.
• Qualifications
• Bilingualcandidates (Haitian Creole / French / Spanish) are strongly encouragedto apply.
• Bachelor’s degree and management experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working withindividuals with low incomes, mental health challenges, or addiction.
• Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and technologyskills.
