The Director of Operations will lead and optimize engineering,manufacturing, and supply chain teams to drive efficiency andgrowth. They will be instrumental in implementing strategicinitiatives that enhance operational performance and support thecompany’s long-term success. Client Details A rapidly expandingmedical device company located just north of Boston, recentlyacquired by a larger organization with a strong foothold in thehealthcare sector, is now searching for an experienced medicaldevice leader. This leader will be instrumental in driving thecompany forward by enhancing manufacturing, technology, and supplychain operations to reach the next level of growth.

DescriptionResponsibilities:

Lead and coordinate engineering teams acrossthree separate divisions within the engineering business Developand track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress andmaintain accountability on internal projects Provide hands-onleadership in engineering and project management activities duringdaily operations Foster collaboration and communication betweenteams to drive efficiency and innovation Identify opportunities forprocess improvements and implement best practices acrossdepartments Manage resource allocation to ensure project milestonesare met on time and within budget Support professional developmentand performance growth of engineering staff Travel occasionally,approximately once per quarter, to support business needs andstakeholder engagement

Profile Ideal Candidate:

10 years ofprogressive operations management experience in the medical deviceindustry Preferred electromechanical engineering or technicalbackground Demonstrated success in leading organizationaltransformation within manufacturing and operations Deep expertisein materials selection, handling, and product lifecycle managementStrong understanding of regulatory compliance and quality standardsin medical device manufacturing Proven ability to optimize supplychain and production processes for efficiency and scalabilityExperience managing cross-functional teams and fostering acollaborative work environment Skilled in implementing data-drivenperformance metrics to drive continuous improvement Job OfferWhat’s to
