Job Description

Site Manager – New Way Services Description The Site Manager will beresponsible for the day-to-day operations of their assigned programwithin our New Way/ ABI division. They will work under the direction ofthe Program Coordinator to uphold the highest standard for all peoplereceiving services.

About our program:

After acquiring a brain injurythrough trauma or stroke, or surviving a life-altering illness, anindividual must move on, in a new way. A person’s life has beendramatically changed. There can be physical, cognitive, behavioral andemotional changes-and managing them successfully is not an easy process.

It takes time and support from others to learn new ways of doingeveryday things. MHA’s individualized programming through New Wayassists people with reclaiming abilities, developing skills, preparingfor employment, and re-engaging with family, friends and community.

Schedule:

40 hours, Schedule TBD Essential Job Functions/PositionResponsibilities Shift set up and planning through the use of effectivecommunication, shift-planning sheets and regular updates with theFloating Supervisor. Maintaining program scheduling and ensuringstaffing ratios are adequate at all times. Monitor substance counts,medication ordering, posting and verifying of medications. Monitoring ofmoney counts, petty cash and check requests with the oversight of theProgram Coordinator. Work with the program coordinator to hire, onboard,and train new employees. Monitor daily tracking for medications, ISPgoal tracking, behavior tracking, and mobility exercise. Ensure that allmedical appointments, therapies, visiting nurse appointments andcommunity dates are met. Model positive participant engagement andadvocacy while balancing direct support and opportunities forindependence. Reports of all maintenance issues as appropriate to theProgram Coordinator. Documentation Communicate and report in a timelymanner all issues, concerns or incidents to the Program Coordinator.

Complete the necessary written documentation related to particularincidents within mandated timelines. Teamwork, Communication,Cooperation, and Continuous Learning Regularly attend and activelyparticipate in team meetings, supervision meetings and/or otherscheduled meetings. Attend agency mandated training and maintainrequired certifications. Pursue additional activities and training toenhance job knowledge and competency which afford opportunities forprofessional growth. Work with the team toward the common vision ofCommunity Based Flexible Supports. Demonstrate good interpersonalskills, professionalism, and organization so that the goals of theparticipants and the program can be met. Requirements Must have a validdriver’s license, sufficient automobile insurance, an acceptabledriving record, and a safe, reliable vehicle to utilize during workhours Must be at least 21 years old Must be able to pass a backgroundand CORI check Minimum of six months of relevant experience; experiencewith individuals with brain injuries, mental health challenges, ordevelopmental disabilities is preferred.
