The Robo Hub is leader in hands-on STEM education! Our summer camps offer a creative, educational, and fun-filled experience for kids in Cambridge, Lexington and Brookline, MA, where they’ll explore robotics, coding, drones, and more. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Camp Director to oversee our camp operations at our Brookline location.

The Camp Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of camp operations, ensuring a safe, educational, and enjoyable experience for all campers. You will also serve as the primary point of contact for parents. Why This Job is

Key Responsibilities:
Lead Camp Operations :
Manage daily camp activities including scheduling, staff coordination, and ensuring all materials and equipment are in place.
Staff Support :
Lead camp counselors, fostering a positive, collaborative, and motivated team environment.
Program Development :
Support teachers in delivering engaging STEM activities, ensuring that all students are appropriately challenged and engaged.
Parent Communication :
Build strong relationships with campers’ families, keeping them updated on their child’s progress and overall camp experience.
Safety and Compliance :
Ensure all camp activities comply with safety regulations and camp policies to provide a secure environment for campers and staff.
Administrative Oversight :
Maintain accurate records for camp rosters, medical forms and staff performance.
Qualifications:
Experience in camp or educational program management, preferably in a STEM setting. At least 2 years of experience working with children in an educational or camp environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing camp logistics and operations. Ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and positive working atmosphere. Excellent communication skills for working with staff, students, and parents. Passion for youth development and STEM education. CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly Rate :
$25•30 per hour based on experience.
Hours :
40 hours per week, July 7•August 15 .
Paid Training :
Prior to the start of camp, you’ll participate in paid training to prepare for the summer.
