You will work closely with participants, families, staff, healthcare professionals, and community partners to promote participant well-being, independence, and quality of life. The Operations Manager ensures that all program services meet regulatory standards, manage staff, oversee compliance, and fosters a positive and supportive environment for all participants and employees. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee daily operations of the Adult Day Health Center Ensure compliance with state (MassHealth) and federal regulations, licensing requirements, and internal quality standards Supervise, train, and support clinical and administrative staff Oversee participant intake, service planning, and care coordination Manage financial operations including authorizations, and cost reports Maintain accurate records for audits and inspections Coordinate transportation services to ensure safe and timely service for participants Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives Respond to participant and family concerns in a timely and professional manner Promote a positive, respectful, and person-centered environment Requirements Minimum 3 years of management experience in healthcare, human services, or adult day health settings Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Human Services, Nursing, Public Health, or related field preferred (experience may substitute for academic training in some cases) Strong understanding of state (Massachusetts) Adult Day Health regulations and standards CPR and First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills Experience with electronic health record systems preferred (e.g., WellSky) Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Commitment to person-centered care and service excellence Duties Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance. Manage daily operations, ensuring that all departments work cohesively towards company goals. Provide support to assistant managers and clerks in their roles, fostering a collaborative work environment. Evaluate operational processes regularly to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity. Maintain compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards. Skills Strong training development capabilities to foster employee growth. Proficient in retail management practices with a focus on customer satisfaction. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to manage teams, providing guidance and support as needed. Familiarity with clerical duties related to operations management.
