Hudson, MA Job Description:

D&R Products is a contract manufacturer of medical devices serving many industry leaders for over 30 years. We are seeking an experienced head of secondary operations to function as a working manager. This role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of secondary operations. You will report directly to senior management.

Key Roles:

Troubleshoot problems working with Engineering and Quality within an established

ISO13485

2016 certified quality system. Work with production to make sure jobs are completed on time.

Skills/Responsibilities:

Ability to inspect and measure using microscope, comparator, 1″ micrometer ,Vernier and torque tester Implement proper line clearance in work areas Familiarity with paperwork that comes with working in a medical device environment General final assembly of small parts Manual and mechanical buffing and deburring under a microscope Maintenance of buffing station and ability to change buffing wheels Operate and maintain a drill press Setup and operate existing thermal bonding equipment Setup tooling and operation of a small hydraulic press Familiar with heat shrink process from cutting to applying Setup and use of sand blasting equipment (including mixing of blasting media) Work with engineers for special products and prototypes Daily environmental monitoring (start up) of Class 7 clean room and Controlled Environment areas. Setup and operate Tyvek pouch sealers Control of critical material inventory Methyl Chloride use and associated safety training

$20.00 – $24.00 per hour
