Our 350+ staff positively impact the lives of over 200 individuals across 20 communities in Southeastern Massachusetts.
Role Overview:
Delta Projects is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Residential Operations to join our team. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our 45 residential programs, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our residents. You will play a critical role in leading a team of dedicated staff members, fostering a positive and inclusive environment, and driving continuous improvement in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
Provide strategic direction and leadership to a team of nine direct reports overseeing residential managers and staff, ensuring adherence to organizational and regulatory policies and procedures.
Strategic Alignment:
As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, contribute to the development and management of agency goals and objectives, providing valuable insights and recommendations. Work closely with colleagues in Clinical, Nursing, Quality, and Human Resources to ensure successful outcomes.
Quality Assurance:
In collaboration with Quality, monitor and evaluate service delivery to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold Delta Projects’ standards of care.
Staff Development:
Recruit, train, and mentor staff members to promote professional growth and enhance team cohesion.
Collaboration:
Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Foster effective communication and collaboration with colleagues, funders, families, and other stakeholders to promote operational excellence and client-centered care.
Project Leadership:
Help to lead and oversee a diverse range of strategic projects, including systems implementations, process improvements, and reporting initiatives.
Budget Management:
Oversee budget planning and financial management for residential operations, optimizing resources while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Healthcare Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience, with, at least 5 years in residential services or related field. Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in disability services. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and resolve conflicts. Proven track record in staff management, budget oversight, and program development. Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with data management and report generation. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
