Qualifications:
As Director of Fun Park Operations, you are responsible for overseeing all amusements, attractions and guest experiences while driving overall park success. You will manager daily operations, ensure a safe, clean and engaging environment and lead a team to deliver exceptional service. In addition to supervising staff scheduling, training and performance, you will play a key role in strategic growth, revenue generations and cross-department collaboration. This position demands strong leadership, problem solving abilities and a hands-on approach to ensure seamless operations and an outstanding guest experience.
Key Responsibilities include:
Oversee the daily operations of all attractions, ensuring efficiency, safety and top-tier guest experience. Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth, enhance guest engagement and optimize park performance. Work with Maintenance to ensure all attractions are functioning properly, coordinating repairs and routine upkeep. Manage staff scheduling breaks and rotations, ensuring proper coverage and operational efficiency. Supervise the opening and closing of attractions, maintaining adherence to safety and operational standards. Maintain and optimize redemption inventory, ensuring proper stock levels, organization and presentation. Foster exceptional guest service, proactively resolving concerns and conducting facility walk throughs for quality control. Train, coach and manage team members, supporting HR in hiring, onboarding and performance evaluations. Assist in Food & Beverage, Events, Sports and other departments to ensure operational success across the facility. Manage POS systems, pricing updates, ash handling and payroll review, ensuring financial accuracy. Analyze sales trends, staffing needs and performance metrics to drive efficiency and profitability. Ensure a clean, safe and compliant environment, enforcing health, safety and labor regulations. Collaborate with Marketing to develop promotions that increase attendance, revenue and overall guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities to balance park operations and cross-departmental needs. Hands-on problem solving skills with a proactive approach to managing attractions and staff Strong communication and team-building skills to motivate employees to enchance the guest experience. High School Diploma or GED required; additional management or hospitality experience preferred. 1-2 years of experience in amusement parks, attractions, hospitality or related fields. Must be able to stand for 6-12 hours and work in a physically active environment. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to pass a CORI check.
