Job Description
Hospitality Operations Manager United Camps Conferences and Retreats Massachusetts Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hospitality & Operations professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of customer service through effective food service, building maintenance, janitorial / housekeeping and groundskeeping. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing excellent customer service and employee engagement. Maintenance Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents or staff, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities as needed. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including schematics and repair histories. Lead small teams on specific projects, providing guidance and support as necessary. Hospitality Oversee commercial kitchen employees, including food purchasing, food safety, employee training, and scheduling. Oversee housekeeping employees, ensuring safe use of cleaning chemicals. Business Management Track revenue and costs on a monthly basis. Manage payroll, food, and maintenance costs to expected revenue. Skills Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with customers and staff. Experience in facilities maintenance with a solid understanding of building systems. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various equipment issues. Able to fulfill open shifts as a cook. Leadership abilities to guide team members during projects or repairs. Ideal Background Prior experience as an onsite property caretaker with significant customer interactions.
