Job Description

Operations Manager 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars Lewiston, ME 04240 Operations Manager – Casco Bay Food and Beverage, an Employee-Owned Company, is seeking an experienced, results-oriented Operations Manager to manage and lead the day-to-day activities of our branch operations located in Lewiston, Scarborough and Bangor. This role is based out of our Lewiston, Maine location and is responsible for overseeing branch performance, leading a team of route and maintenance personnel, and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient service and operational excellence. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, a focus on continuous improvement, and the ability to build and develop a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership Lead regular team meetings focused on safety, company goals, and service standards Challenge the status quo and be willing to take calculated risks to increase revenue and streamline processes. Supervise and support Route and Utility Drivers, Route Supervisors, and Maintenance Technicians Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate branch personnel Maintain a positive, professional team environment with clear accountability and regular communication Operational Oversight Manage daily operations for Micro Market, Vending, and OCS locations Be data driven in your decision making Monitor inventory levels, site performance, and service schedules Review and analyze operational reports to ensure adherence to procedures and targets Collaborate with senior leadership and vendors to implement best practices Customer and Business Focus Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely service and quality control Identify operational improvements and local market opportunities for growth Execute financial and operational plans to meet performance goals Address and resolve service issues or personnel concerns quickly and professionally Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations or team management Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with common business software and reporting tools Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record Preferred Qualifications Background in vending, logistics, distribution, or food service industries Company Sponsored Benefits Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Group Life Insurance Supplemental Life Insurance Short-term disability Matching 401(k) Retirement Savings ESOP Company Stock Funded Retirement Plan Compensation Salary will be commensurate with experience.
