Job Description

SkyBridge Luxury & Associates has partnered with a distinguished hospitality group based in Portland, Maine to source a Corporate Director of Operations to oversee their diverse portfolio of restaurants, catering operations, a private club, and a boutique hotel. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a strategic yet tactful operator with an entrepreneurial mindset who can drive operational excellence while fostering a collaborative and service-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct the daily operations and overall performance of the group’s restaurants, catering business, private club, and hotel. Implement and refine operational systems, service standards, and processes to ensure consistency, quality, and profitability across all entities. Serve as a key strategic partner to ownership and senior leadership in business development, operational planning, and brand positioning. Mentor and develop property-level leadership teams, promoting a high-performance culture focused on accountability and guest satisfaction. Oversee financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management, with a strong emphasis on maximizing efficiencies and revenue growth. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to drive business across all segments, including private events and catering. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, labor laws, licensing, and health and safety standards. Champion a positive, entrepreneurial culture that balances tradition with innovation and excellence in service delivery.

Qualifications:

8+ years of progressive, multi-unit operational leadership experience within hospitality, including restaurants, private clubs, and hotels. Proven success managing diverse hospitality operations with a hands-on, tactical leadership style . Strong financial management and analytical skills. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead tactfully and foster strong team dynamics. Entrepreneurial approach to operational challenges and new business opportunities. A bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or business administration or a related field is preferred.
