Job Description:

Our client, a family-owned manufacturer of masonry products for residential andmercial applications is seeking a Director of Manufacturing Operations in Maine.
At this time our client is not able to offer any Sponsorship.
The Director of Manufacturing Operations will oversee all manufacturing activities across the two manufacturing plants. The Director will have a strong emphasis on developing and executing forward-looking manufacturing strategies. This role is responsible for driving operational efficiency, ensuring high quality and safety standards, and positioning thepany for long-term success. The Director will work closely with other departments to align manufacturing goals with overall business objectives and future growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Develop and implementprehensive manufacturing strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Ensurepliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards across all manufacturing processes.
Lead and mentor the manufacturing team(s), fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Manage budgets and financial performance related to manufacturing operations.
Identify emerging trends and opportunities in the manufacturing industry and incorporate them into thepany’s strategic plans.
Develop and execute long-term strategies to position thepany for future growth and success including driving innovation and the adoption of new technologies to enhance manufacturing capabilities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in a senior manufacturing leadership role, with a high preference for experience within the construction or building materials industry. Experience with Concrete, PreCast or Block Manufacturing is a PLUS.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and drive operational improvements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills.
