Role:

•This role will be part of the Go to Market Strategy + Analytics team and will work across Sales, Sales Operations and Finance to utilize our business systems data to analyze and provide insight into the organization’s performance. Responsible for leading analytics initiatives that inform and drive sales strategies, performance measurement and decision-making cross functionally. The primary focus of this role is being able to connect and understand data across systems for the team to build compelling and actionable narratives. Strong technical knowledge of systems and databases is required. Will build relationships with executives to influence decisions based on data and trends across systems. Must be able to transform data into insights so we can utilize world class functional dashboards, reporting, and analysis to ensure data-driven decisions are a daily part of how we work. A background in Tableau, SQL, complex modeling through Excel, or experiences supporting a pre-sales and/or a post-sales customer business is strongly encouraged. Ability to query databases in Tableau and previous experience analyzing field ops data is preferred. This position reports into the GTM Strategy team within the Sales organization. •

What You Will Do:

•+ Lead and scale strategic field operations analytics programs focusing on performance drivers such as consumption growth, expansion, deal acceleration + Build and define new metrics to measure field performance in rapidly changing business environments. + Partner with regional sales leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to identify performance gaps. + Develop, implement and maintain operational dashboards, standardized reporting and complex data models to provide actionable insights to leadership and field teams. + Define, monitor and iterate on key sales metrics aligned to business priorities; proactively identify and solve complex sales challenges through data analysis. + Write queries to access, retrieve and manipulate data for it to be used and leveraged in executive level reporting •

What You Will Bring:

•+ 7+ years of experience in analytics, consulting, sales operations, business operations or a high-growth technology environment + Quick learner able to build connections with people and systems to solve complex problems. + Proven ability to design, build and scale analytics solutions using tools such as SQL, Tableau and advanced Excel modeling. + The ability to analyze data with strong attention to detail and accuracy, and passionate about telling the story behind the numbers while completing complex tasks. + The ability to communicate cross-functionally, derive requirements, set and meet deadlines, and deliver insightful analysis and/or models. + Growth mindset and high degrees of self motivation, fostered in a fast-paced, high growth, dynamic environment. •Come As You Are•At Confluent, equality is a core tenet of our culture.
