SUMMARY:
The Golf Operations Assistant will assist with all aspects of daily golf course operations, including grounds and course maintenance, supervising the maintenance team, managing resources, and assisting in the development of operational strategies for smooth course operations at Copiah Lincoln Community College.
JOB DUITES
Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the golf course to ensure a high-quality experience for all patrons. Support the maintenance team in the upkeep and care of the golf course grounds, ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest standards. Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team and cart attendants, providing guidance and support to ensure effective and efficient operations. Manage resources, including equipment and supplies, to ensure availability and proper usage for course maintenance and operations. Assist in the development and implementation of operational strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of golf course operations. Collaborate with other departments and staff to ensure seamless operations and enhance the overall experience for guests and members. Monitor and evaluate the condition of the golf course, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards related to golf course operations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Assist in organizing and coordinating events and tournaments held at the golf course. Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
An associate’s degree Two (2) years of experience in golf course operations or a related field. Familiarity with golf course maintenance equipment and practices. Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle various aspects of golf course operations efficiently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members, management, and golf course patrons. Ability to develop and implement operational strategies to enhance the efficiency of golf course operations. Proficiency in using relevant computer software for managing resources and scheduling. Knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to golf course maintenance and operations. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and adapt to varying weather conditions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
