Lead a new office bringing together clinical, operational, and financial improvement work in support of UMMC’s strategic plan, manages and coordinates health system wide efforts to ensure performance improvement programs are developed and managed using data driven focus, participates in organizational strategic planning and provides leadership for PI policy development, plans, designs, and ensures implementation of performance improvement initiatives, facilitates Hospital operational improvements and change management, ensures performance and operational best practices are applied and shared across the system, manages all office personnel to include hiring, determining workload and assignments, training and monitoring performance, serves as change agent, assisting leaders and associates to assimilate change in performance processes and practices, and supervises Office & Administrative Support Workers, Healthcare Support Workers, and Medical & Health Services Managers Education required: Applicant must have a master’s degree, its equivalent, or its foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Hospital Administration, or Industrial Engineering, plus ten years’ experience in performance or organizational management.
