Description Description:
Directly supervises at least 5 employees.

Conducts all responsibilities in a manner that aligns with Peco’s vision, mission and core values
Overall responsibility is to monitor catching operations and supervise transport of birds from the farm to the plant efficiently.
Adhere to catch schedule as developed by the live haul manager and coordinate with the Producer to prepare the chicken houses for catching.
Follow all animal welfare and biosecurity programs. Enforce a zero tolerance policy for company employees on animal welfare issues.
Monitors loader operators so that they operate in a safe manner.
Ensure that any weather handling tasks (fans, wetting birds, wrapping cages) are in place and properly done.
Control trash and damage to the Producer’s facilities.
Fill out load tickets and give a copy to the Producer, the driver, and the live haul manager.
Complete payroll records properly and submit to live haul manager.
Handles and ensures employees handle various chemicals, vaccines, and medications safely.
Maintain adequate staffing.
Ensure compliance with all applicable government agencies and regulations.
Physical Demands:
Sitting/standing/walking and driving 100% of the workday.
Working in normal room environment, outside environment, and in cold, hot, humid, and dusty conditions.
Lifting various weights on an as needed basis.
Physically able to climb a ladder at various heights.
