We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our Delivery Service Provider (DSP) operations within Amazon Logistics . In this role, you’ll drive efficiency, manage daily operations, and lead a high-performing delivery team to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in management, inventory management, and people development.

Your Daily Impact:

Schedule Management:

Develop, oversee, and adjust staff schedules to align with operational needs while ensuring coverage during high-volume events (HVEs).

Dispatch & Workflow Coordination:

Act as a dispatcher by efficiently allocating resources, coordinating workflows, and managing real-time operational adjustments.

Problem Solving & Decision Making:

Proactively address logistical challenges, staffing issues, or unexpected delays, using quick and effective decision-making to minimize disruptions.

Communication & Reporting:

Maintain clear and timely communication with leadership & owners, provide updates on operations, and ensure compliance with company policies and objectives. Qualifications Management and Customer Service experience Strong Administrative skills Ability to be Hands-On with Fleet and Delivery Operations Demonstrated Ability to Lead Comfortable working with Budgets and Payroll Strong Communication skills Strong Interpersonal skills Experience with a Business that Operates 7 days per week Attention to Detail Track Record of Success and Achievements Proven Problem Solver Familiarity with technology databases and Microsoft Suite Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills Ability to remain composed and in control regardless of conditions including fast-paced & stressful situations Knowledge of modern smartphone technology and the ability to use, trouble shoot and teach Provide leadership and direction to a team of people Manage operations and finances of business Oversee the facilitation of recruiting and training of new hires Drive development of employees Ensure that quality of work or service is maintained Strive to be the best logistics partner while taking care of employees Ability to oversee a large fleet of vans and maintenance Pay and Benefits Salary $43,160.00 + Monthly Bonus Opportunity Based on Team Performance Medical, Dental, and Vision (offered after 60 day waiting period) 401K with Company Match (at 90 days of employment)

Basics:

Must be 21 years or older Able to pass a 7-year background check Able to pass a pre-employment drug screening Clean driving record , demonstrating 7 years of responsible driving behavior Must live within a 45-minute commute of Asheville Regional Airport Reliable transportation and dependable childcare arrangements (if applicable) Work schedule : (2) 12-hour shifts + (3) 6-hour shifts per week = 5 shifts/week Ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed (361days/year) Prior supervisory experience overseeing a minimum of 10 reports Satisfactory ability to safely operate company vehicle effectively Ability to lift, push, pull, etc. up to 50lbs.
