Quality Operations Manager 2.9 2.9 out of 5 stars Kannapolis, NC 28081 Job purpose Reporting to Sr Operations Manager, the Q&O Manager is responsible for coordinating with our Labor partner all aspects related to Quality, Productivity and Process guidance related to products & conditions going through our RIMS platform. Our ideal candidate possesses tremendous multi-tasking & troubleshooting skills as well as understanding the mission and vision. Responsibilities
- Drive efficient processes by working closely with all departments / contractors / labor partner providing guidance and SOP support related to: o Inbound product o RIMS receiving & Quality guidelines o Condition assessment of the products o Inventory sort, put away, picking and shipping o Returns processing / fraud reporting o Projects to meet and/or exceed KPI’s.
(Unit cost – Processing time – Time to Fulfill & Quality Standards)
- Manage process and flow by coaching Labor Partner to comply with service agreements including but not limited to independent decision making by prioritizing business needs
- Troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis and follow up with the proper corrective action to resolve any systemic/operational issues with any of the departments in collaboration of the Labor Partner
- Actively participate, implement initiatives to maintain a 5S work environment
- Coordinate, analyze and/or lead continuous improvement projects with Labor Partner where applicable
- Work &/or assist onboarding special projects & specialty brands as needed
- Other duties may be assigned from time to time by your manager Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to drive results through analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Continuous Improvement experience / attitude
- Must have strong verbal, written, project management and presentation skills
- Strong influencing skills and the ability to gain buy-in from others
- Able to work independently, dependable, enthusiastic, and dedicated
- Fluent in Spanish preferred Working conditions
- Ability to flex working hours as needed based on production volume
- Ability to work weekends and/or varying shifts
- Regularly work in a non-climate controlled environment
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
