Overview:

TheDirector of Operations will work in close partnership with theChief Operating Officer to lead, coordinate, and enhance thecompany’s daily operations. This role is responsible for aligningcross-functional teams, driving operational efficiency, andimplementing strategic initiatives that support the company’sgoals. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who thrives ina fast-paced environment and has a sharp eye for streamliningprocesses, managing resources, and fostering a culture ofcontinuous improvement.
Travel:
10% – Local travel
Clearance:
Noclearance is required for this position; however, all applicantsmust meet the requirements of clearance eligibility, to include butnot limited to, US Citizenship, and may be subject to a securityinvestigation.
Requirements:
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience insupporting operations related areas Ten or more years in a seniorleadership role in a field related to our industry Five or moreyears of program management experience in leading large programs orcontracts Excellent written and verbal communication skills Advanced level competency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint applicationsAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented culture thatvalues the importance of being a good teammate, communicator, andpartner Demonstrated ability to innovate, self-start, think ahead,problem solve, and engage proactively Ability to excel underpressure and is confident handling last-minute details and changesSuperior knowledge of multiple operational functions andprinciples, including finance, customer service, businessdevelopment , and employee management A bility to plan and manageoperational processes for maximum efficiency and productivityStrong working knowledge of industry regulations and legalguidelines Experience in developing and maintaining budgets andbusiness plans Experience writing proposals and white papers
Responsibilities:
Support strategic operational initiatives thatimprove quality, efficiency, security, and compliance acrosscompany Collaborate with the strategic leadership team on riskmanagement, resource planning, and contract support strategiesParticipate in all Councils to un derstand each Council and toprovide support to the Council leads as needed Assist withdefinition, implementation, and monitoring of policies/processes(EPG) Assist with implementation of process improvements Work withB usiness D evelopment and Op eration s Groups to identify andsupport capture of new business Identify , plan, monitor, andanalyze key metrics for tracking perfo rmance Develop, implement,and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes to providevisibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of keyinitiatives

Bachelor’s Degree Compensation:
Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors,including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience,education, training, security clearance, work location, skills,knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with ourcorporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements. Theprojected annual compensation range for this position is $120,000 -$190,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary rangefor this position and is just one component of the totalcompensation package that SimVentions offers.
