Durham, NC On-Site Freudenberg Performance Materials LP (USA) You support our team as Director of Operations Responsibilities Develop and implement a long-term Manufacturing strategy based on Business/Market strategies. Ensure all FB HSE standards are implemented so people work in a safe environment. Deliver all materials according to plan, taking into account planning, efficiency (cost), quality and quantity. Responsible for (continued) performance of assets as well as timely replacement/upgrading/improvement of the assets. Accountable for increased Sustainability in operations (e.g. waste reduction, recycling, raw materials-, water- & energy efficiency, and reduced emissions) Lead the implementation and development of global operational excellence programs such as Lean, SPC, 5S and safety excellence. Develop and lead leadership of manufacturing and support them in their respective roles as leaders Drive market/customer orientation in manufacturing Qualifications Master’s degree or higher in engineering, manufacturing, or related field. 10+ years of manufacturing management experience or equivalent. Relative industry experience within non-woven/textiles, raw goods, or chemical processing. Proficient in SAP ERP systems and comfortable operating in a data-driven, KPI-focused culture. Strong understanding and application of lean principles. Proven track record leading engineering and production teams in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
