Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven marketing strategist tojoin the WebMD Ignite Activation team – a fast-paced, full-servicehealthcare marketing agency. This role is ideal for a creativethinker and analytical problem solver who thrives on developinginnovative marketing strategies that drive measurable results. As amanager of consumer strategy, you will lead a small team and beresponsible for planning, implementing, and optimizingcomprehensive marketing campaigns for healthcare clients across theUnited States.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
Lead goalsetting, brand positioning, channel strategy, and budget allocationacross your book of business. Lead consumer and B2B audiencedevelopment across print, digital, and marketing automationplatforms leveraging proprietary data, CRM, and digital bestpractices. Analyze market research to identify trends,opportunities, and target demographics. Partner with creative andclient teams to develop comprehensive creative briefs. Develop acomprehensive marketing plan to ensure consistency and cohesionacross all channels and marketing platforms.
Internal Collaboration& Cross-Functional Coordination:
Act as the central liaison betweendepartments, ensuring seamless communication and alignment acrossteams on all things campaign related. Ensure seamless handoff ofcomprehensive marketing plan to implementation teams. Work closelywith digital media teams to create strategies that amplify brandvisibility, engagement, and lead generation. Coordinate with weband tracking teams to ensure marketing strategies are supported byoptimized digital experiences, including landing pages and userjourneys. Analyze performance data and work with channeladministrators to adjust strategies as needed.
ClientCollaboration:
Serve as the primary point of contact for marketingand brand strategy as well as campaign planning for your book ofbusiness. Provide regular updates, insights, and recommendations.
Present campaign strategies and performance reports in a clear andcompelling manner. Build and maintain strong relationships tofoster trust and long-term partnerships.
Innovation & Growth:
Stayupdated on the latest marketing trends, tools, and technologies.
Proactively identify new opportunities for clients to gain acompetitive edge. Contribute to agency growth by participating innew business pitches and strategy sessions.
Management:
Coach andmentor a team of up to three marketing strategists. Set and upholdperformance standards and conduct annual performance reviews.
Contribute to overall Ignite Activation leadership priorities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business,Communications, or a related field. 5 years of experience in amarketing strategy or similar role. Experience executingomnichannel campaigns leveraging CRM, programmatic, SEM, socialmedia, traditional media, as well as marketing automation. Strongunderstanding of omnichannel marketing tactics and best practicesespecially when leveraging CRM and marketing automation tools.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in afast-paced environment and with a strong eye for detail. Analyticalmindset with the ability to interpret complex data and translate itinto actionable strategies. Experience in a management or mentoringrole. Ability to commute into the office 3 days per week.
PreferredSkills:
Healthcare marketing experience is strongly preferred -both consumer and HCP/B2B. Agency experience preferred. Experiencewith digital reporting and business insights platforms likeTableau, Looker Studio, Datorama, or other. Previous managementexperience preferred.
