Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Regional Director of Operations to oversee operations across five skilled nursing facilities. The ideal candidate will be a strong, strategic leader who ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, drives quality improvement initiatives, supports local leadership teams, and fosters a culture of accountability and resident-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide operational oversight and leadership to facility Administrators and interdisciplinary teams. Ensure facilities meet or exceed quality, compliance, and financial performance goals. Lead efforts to improve resident care outcomes, staff satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Conduct regular site visits to monitor performance and provide coaching, training, and support. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies. Develop strategic plans to support census growth, cost control, and resident satisfaction. Serve as liaison between facility leadership and corporate office. Promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and compassionate care.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field (Master’s preferred). Current and valid North Carolina Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license. Minimum of 5 years of multi-site leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care. Proven track record of regulatory compliance, census management, and staff leadership. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to inspire and mentor others. Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the Central NC region.
