This person is responsible for the overall management and administration of the operations team including overall supervision, hiring, training, discipline and personnel development, writing installation plans, scheduling, vehicle and equipment management, vendor management, warehouse management and management of quality assurance. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Work with the Director of Operations to develop the group’s strategic vision and develop quarterly goals for each direct report. Maintain a strong Operations Leadership Team through development, coaching and accountability. Hire and manage all operations personnel. Leadership and development of all direct reports, including commitment to drive Situational Leadership tools and principles. Develop initial and ongoing training for all direct reports. Manage disciplinary action for all direct reports and continuously top-grade staff. Ensure direct reports participate in larger company training as applicable. Provide oversight for installation, move projects, and quality assurance. Provide oversight for scheduling and all other administrative functions for the Operations Team. Responsible for the implementation of policies and procedures related to labor management. Proactively document as well as improve operational processes and procedures. Proactively manage overtime, contract labor and other key operational expenses. Hold team meetings monthly to increase team communication and cooperation and provide a training forum. Conduct weekly site visits of installation and move projects and document opportunities for improvement. Manage all warehouse operations. Manage company vehicle fleet and all operations equipment. Manage contract labor groups and other key vendor groups. Manage bid process for contract labor. Review labor quotes for reasonableness. Conduct post-project reviews and implement corrective action. Ensure customer satisfaction for all installation and move projects. Ensure that all team members have the tools and equipment necessary to perform their duties effectively and efficiently. Meet at least quarterly with each team to learn what is going well and what opportunities there are to improve. Develop and maintain a project schedule outlining deadlines for specifications, construction, order entry, delivery, installation, and move. Monitor shipping schedules, scheduling receipt and installation with the Installation Supervisor, Customer and Salesperson. Ensure that installation drawings are accurate and complete; and that any additional information required for installation is submitted to the Installation Supervisor. Schedule pre-installation and post-installation meetings with the Installation Supervisor, Designer, Salesperson and CSR. Coordinate with outside contractors (i.e.: telephone, cable, electricians) and inform them of installation methods within the furniture systems. Conduct a punch list walk-through with the customer and attain a signature on outstanding issues. Pre-schedule punch list work with Scheduler, order any replacement parts, contact customer on status, and insure proper follow through. Participate in weekly project status update meetings with CSR’s and Sales. Establish personal relationships with key customers. Assist team members as needed and work with them to resolve customer issues expediently. Assist with each department’s operating processes and procedures to result in excellent customer service.

Experience:
