Essential Functions:
Responsible for the oversight and operation of warehouse facilities and employees.
Define and develop material strategy within the Americas Region.
Participates in sourcing process, long-term capacity and resource planning; product phase-in/phase-out, manufacturing ramp-up, end of life management and product-line management.
Analyzes supply / demand requirements. Analyzes purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools in SAP.
Supports planning of inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements.
Creates and manages the regulatory import and export strategy for North America to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and look for creative regulatory solutions to overcome trade issues.
Will be the North American import/export contact to support global supply strategy.
Analyzes lead times and identifies critical path procurements.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years related experience, or advanced degree with limited experience; or equivalent work experience. Experience managing and improving supply chain data, information, and processes Exercises judgment and independence in identifying next steps. High proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook). Solid foundation in Export Control and Compliance (ECC): ISF, SED, AES, HTS, Tariffs, ACE Portal, International Trade, & lead improvement activities Solid understanding of concepts of inventory flow throughout the supply chain. Strong understanding of concepts of inventory management and distribution planning. Strong customer service focus. Ability to develop and provide reports to satisfy ongoing inquires on inventory, capacity and product availability. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate critical information Good problem solving and reasoning skills to effectively deal with problems varying in complexity relative to job level.
Preferred Qualifications:
