Market Operations Coordinator Spyglass Talent Solutions Clayton, NC 27520 Spyglass Talent Solutions, a boutique talent solutions firm based in Raleigh, NC, is partnering with a sustainable agricultural venture based in Eastern NC to find a Market Operations Coordinator. The Operations Coordinator will play a key role in advancing the mission of the organization by managing day-to-day operations across logistics, retail, inventory, and customer engagement. This individual will support cross-functional initiatives while ensuring efficiency, organization, and exceptional service. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, collaborative, and eager to contribute to a growing, purpose-driven business.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to streamline operations and improve workflow. Conduct inventory counts and organize freezer storage to improve inventory accuracy. Upload purchase orders and create product transfers in Shopify. Forecast inventory needs based on product demand and historical trends. Analyze order, inventory, carcass, and shipping data to drive operational improvements. Coordinate and assist with delivery logistics, including occasional order deliveries to customers. Manage retail operations, including hours, staffing, product offerings, and restocking needs. Assist in managing farmers markets and pop-up events: pack inventory, schedule staff, and procure necessary materials. In collaboration with sales team, provide high-level customer service and resolve customer inquiries via communication platforms and in-person. Partner with sales team to support customer engagement efforts, including feedback collection, loyalty program coordination, and CRM database management. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on pricing, promotions, product launches, and order fulfillment strategies. Create and update products in Shopify, including descriptions, variants, and retail pricing. Source and launch new product types in collaboration with sales, marketing, and logistics teams. Manage logistics-related costs and optimize shipping rates and packaging solutions. Communicate with suppliers, transportation hubs, and internal teams to ensure efficient product flow. Support the development of retail and e-commerce promotions across company platforms.
Qualifications:
Experience in operations, logistics, inventory management, or customer-facing roles—ideally in food, agriculture, or retail sectors. Proficiency in Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with an ability to juggle multiple priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and propose process improvements. Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Passion for local agriculture, community impact, and purpose-driven work.
