Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with strong mechanical aptitude to oversee daily operations in a machine-intensive environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for streamlining production, managing maintenance schedules, optimizing workflow, and ensuring equipment efficiency and safety. This role bridges hands-on mechanical expertise and electrical knowledge with strategic leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the facility, ensuring efficient production and machine utilization. Supervise and support maintenance staff; troubleshoot mechanical issues when needed. Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. Monitor machine performance and recommend upgrades or replacements when necessary. Analyze operational data and implement improvements in workflow, safety, and productivity. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. Manage inventory of tools, parts, and supplies related to machinery and production. Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to optimize machine settings and processes. Develop training programs for staff on machinery operation and safety. Overseas travel to other factories to assist in integrating systems. (Passport must be updated)
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar leadership role in a mechanical or industrial setting. Strong mechanical knowledge, including hands-on experience with machines, tools, and mechanical systems. Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and work with technicians to resolve them efficiently. Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field (preferred but not required based on experience).
