Exempt Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Director of Operations to lead and support a portfolio of Assisted Living communities across the Raleigh and Charlotte, NC regions. This individual will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, promoting resident satisfaction, and mentoring community leadership teams to achieve financial and quality performance goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to multiple Assisted Living communities within the assigned region. Ensure all communities operate in compliance with state regulations, company policies, and best practices in senior care. Support Executive Directors and department heads in achieving census growth, resident satisfaction, staff engagement, and financial targets. Analyze community performance metrics and implement action plans for continuous improvement. Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality of care, team performance, and community operations. Serve as a liaison between communities and the corporate leadership team. Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing community leadership teams. Lead crisis management and problem resolution efforts effectively and professionally. Partner with the clinical leadership to ensure high standards of resident care. Drive initiatives that promote a positive culture and enhance the resident experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred). Minimum of 5 years of multi-site leadership experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Long-Term Care settings. Strong knowledge of North Carolina state regulations governing senior living communities. Proven track record of operational success, including census growth, quality outcomes, and team development. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to extensively travel between assigned communities in the Raleigh and Charlotte area. Current North Carolina Administrator license or eligibility preferred.
