At JLL, we aredriving sustainability through everything that we do, across allservice lines and job positions. Specifically, we are growing ourSustainability practice to drive end-to-end sustainabilitysolutions in real estate, from site selection to decommissioning.

Inthis role, you will work directly with one of our high-profileclients. As the leader of the JLL Sustainable Operations Team youwill develop a deep knowledge of the needs of our client’s programensuring they are capturing JLL’s full suite of sustainabilityservices. You will act as an accelerator and collaborator withinJLL services, enabling our client to increase engagement acrossstakeholders and progress towards goals. You will ensuresustainability integration across business/functions throughout thereal estate lifecycle influence behavioral changes, includingchange management ownership, required to achieve scope of workdelivery and goals. This role requires a programmatic approach toembed sustainability thinking and practices into space selection,fit-outs, occupancy, maintenance, and experience.

Candidate musthave the ability to influence senior stakeholders, as they will betasked with creating value added solutions for our client. Must beable to demonstrate the ability to develop and present executivelevel business cases. The role requires regular interaction withaccount leadership, clients, service providers, operational andsupport staff and will be part of a fast-paced environmentconsistently charged with handling multiple demands and priorities.

The candidate must be able to organize and prioritize multipletasks, effectively manage through stressful situations, andconsistently make high-quality decisions. Candidate must havesuperb people management and documentation skills and deliverthoroughness and accuracy in all tasks. The role is critical to thesuccess of the client relationship in driving energy &environmental performance management, risk mitigation and processimprovement.

This position is remote, requiring in-office presenceeither in Charlotte, NC or Dallas, TX and site visitsperiodically.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development, implementation, and continuousimprovement all JLL sustainability activities across the clientreal estate portfolio Contribute to the client corporate sustainability strategy anddrive the delivery of key objectives Develop, drive, and continuously improve client facing rhythmof the business activities including monthly and quarterly businessreviews and annual operational planning Provide strategic direction and guidance on ways to enhance andexpand service delivery to the client, including leveraging supplychain partners, internal collaborations, and the broader JLLSustainability Platform Own, and improve upon, a multi-faceted global sustainabilitystrategy Establish strong working relationships with global and regionalworkstreams to deliver local targets as well as overarching globaltargets Effectively network cross-functionally to collaborate withother JLL service lines on the account (technology, finance,projects, IFM, consultants, and procurement) to elevate thesustainability mission and objectives, and drive implementationwhere most organic within the business With cross-functional view, effectively manage changes inpartnership with stakeholders, which have the potential to impactsustainability objectives Ensure success stories are tracked and communicated to ensure ahigh level of awareness and engagement is achieved regarding theoverall sustainability program and client’s success Demonstrate innovative thinking and proactive management inbringing new ideas and solutions to the client, and ensure they arerolled out effectively Develop and enhance systems and processes for delivering bestpractice sustainability performance and use ofutility/sustainability management systems for monitoring and/orreporting purposes Manage an effective, global sustainable operations team capableof delivery according to scope of work and schedule Provide SME input and own program components (e.g., contentdevelopment, maintenance) related to SME area Provide technical expertise, strategic leadership, and supportfor all various client facilities on sustainability issues Contribute to the client corporate sustainability strategy anddrive the delivery of key objectivesSound like you?

University Degree (Science, engineering, math, or relatedfields) Passionate about working towards a sustainable future An excellent understanding of the key sustainability issues forcorporate occupiers of real estate including, but not limited to;decarbonization, embodied carbon, circularity, resourcepreservation, biodiversity, climate risk, health & wellbeing, andsocial value creation Demonstrated experience in influencing cross-functionalteams Demonstrated experience with change management acrossmulti-faceted situations and cross-functional teams; changemanagement certification is desirable Experience working with corporate clients, commercial property,property managers and an understanding of the landlord and tenantrelationship is desirable Excellent ability to build relationships with clients and theirinternal teams A strong track record integrating sustainability intoorganizations’ operations Demonstrated people management experience Experience working in a collaborative way with clients andother stakeholders to develop and implement ambitious and robustsustainability programs Proven project management experience and excellentcommunication skills Attention to detail and accuracy in written and numericwork Ability to obtain buy-in and engagement from employees at alllevels Operates with a sense of urgency and is decisive An authentic leader, stimulates action with a balancedleadership style of control and influenceBehavioral Competencies Think Big
