Fixed Base Operator Manager Moore County Government Carthage, NC 28327 ESSENTIAL
JOB DUTIES
The FBO Manager at Moore County Airport will lead the strategic and day-to-day operations of a dynamic and growing general aviation hub. This role requires a driven aviation professional with a passion for customer service, operational excellence, and team leadership. The FBO Manager will be instrumental in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and profitability of the FBO while building strong relationships with airport stakeholders, vendors, and clientele through key responsibilities in operations management, financial and business management, customer services excellence, strategic planning and growth, compliance, safety and security, and team leadership and development.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated success in financial and operational leadership
- Strong background in budgeting, P&L, team management, and service excellence
- Exceptional interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and aviation-related management software.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years in a senior management role, with at least 3 years in aviation or FBO operations
LICENSE AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be flexible to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed
- Must possess and maintain a valid North Carolina driver’s license
