As a supervisor, you play a key role inensuring your teams regularly follow proper policies, regulations,and safety procedures. You also play a key role in communicating workload plans, engagingwith associates, and working with other teams to drive the overallsuccess of our supply chain operations. Your day is dynamic andfocused on optimizing operations. You oversee task allocation,monitor production, and make real-time decisions to improveworkflow. You will be responsible for coordinating and managingday-to-day operations to ensure seamless workflow, promptdeliveries, and cost-effective practices. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead operations associates in receiving,order-fill, shipping, and supporting tasks. Monitor production volume and allocate tasks for optimalworkflow and performance. Enforce safety protocols, conduct training, and promptlyaddress safety concerns. Respond quickly to changing workflow conditions, makingreal-time decisions. Resolve operational issues to minimize disruptions in supplychain operations. Communicate business objectives, daily workload plans, andperformance expectations. Provide support and guidance to associates through associaterelations issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for enhanced supplychain performance. Minimum Qualifications 4 years of experience in distribution center/warehouseoperations or related area OR Bachelor’s degree in supply chainmanagement, Transportation, Industrial Engineering, Business, orrelated field Minimally must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance;ability to lift up to 70 pounds. Basic math and reading comprehension skills Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of MicrosoftOffice Proven record of complying with safety requirements Preferred Qualifications Experience building a culture of safety among direct reportsand peers Leadership experience with direct report responsibility Experience mentoring and coaching others Experience monitoring the work of others to ensure quality Experience working with and communicating to leadership Previous leadership roles in other Lowe’s supply chainfacilities, or leadership roles in Corporate-led initiatives Experience with software applications such as Microsoft Officeand/or a Warehouse Management System Bi-lingual skills, if applicable to the facility Schedule Requirements Available to work a set schedule that may be changed bymanagement based on the facility’s needs. May be asked to work mornings, afternoons, nights, and/orweekends based on the facility’s needs. Working Conditions Environmental factors vary by location. You may be working in bothinside and outside weather conditions. Exposure to varyingclimates, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy,or drafty conditions, is possible. You may be exposed to constantor intermittent noises in addition to moving or shaking objects andequipment. Lifting methods vary based on role, weight, and volume. Associatesmust follow guidelines, limiting single lifts to 70 pounds. Teamlifts are used minimally starting at 70 pounds or when needed.
