Cottage Hospital is looking for a Radiology Unit Coordinator to support our Radiology department and enhance patient experiences. As a key team member, you’ll help maintain the smooth daily operations of the radiology unit, from patient greeting to coordinating imaging resources and handling essential administrative tasks.

Job Summary:

The Radiology Unit Coordinator will: Greet and register patients, schedule exams, and coordinate appointments.
Answer calls, prepare daily schedules, and manage radiology charges.
Obtain and verify insurance authorizations.
Enter professional fees for radiology interpretations and manage image releases/acquisitions.
Fax radiology reports to providers, train covering staff, and support imaging study coordination. Qualifications
Education
Preferred High School or better. Experience
Preferred
Previous experience working in an office in a healthcare setting.
